Initial Consultation

Your journey begins with a conversation. Our companion matching team will walk you through the options available, answer your questions, and help you identify the contract type and companion profile that best fits your situation. Consultations are free, confidential, and carry no obligation.

Needs Assessment

Following your consultation, your matching specialist will conduct a detailed needs assessment. This includes a review of your living situation, daily routine, companionship goals, and any specific requirements related to health, mobility, or personal preference. For Aegis embodied placements, this assessment also includes a home environment review to ensure a smooth transition.

Companion Matching

Based on your assessment, our team will present you with a selection of companion options tailored to your needs. For our disembodied platform, this means configuring a conversational companion to your specifications. For Aegis embodied placements, you'll review available companions and select based on behavioral profile, physical presentation, and overall compatibility.

Contract and Onboarding

Once you've selected your companion, we'll finalize your contract terms, payment schedule, and start date. Your companion will undergo a contract-specific preparation period, including review of your preferences and any specialized calibration required for your contract type.

Placement

Your companion arrives at your home on the agreed start date. The first week is a settling-in period during which your companion adapts to your routine and environment. Your matching specialist remains available during this period for any questions or adjustments.

Ongoing Support

Throughout your contract, our companion care team is available by phone, email, or in-app messaging. Companion satisfaction surveys are conducted at regular intervals, and your care team will proactively reach out to ensure your experience is meeting expectations.

At the end of your contract period, you may choose to renew, modify your contract type, or conclude the placement. We'll work with you to ensure a smooth transition regardless of your decision.

Pricing

Aeon Companion Platform (Disembodied)

Our disembodied companion platform is a comprehensive care communication system available through institutional licensing. Each deployment includes multimodal interaction across text, natural voice conversation, and scheduled or on-demand phone calls to residents, along with integration into your facility's existing care infrastructure.

The platform provides 24/7 companion availability across all residents simultaneously, with real-time behavioral monitoring, mood and sleep pattern tracking, and automated care team alerts when changes in resident engagement or wellbeing are detected. All deployments include HIPAA-compliant data handling, facility onboarding, staff training, and ongoing technical support.

Pricing is based on facility size, resident capacity, and service configuration.

Aegis Companion (Embodied)

Aegis embodied companion contracts are priced monthly based on contract type and duration.

Making companionship accessible

We believe meaningful companionship should not be limited by financial circumstances. Aeon offers several financing options designed to make our services accessible to individuals and families across a range of financial situations.

Monthly Payment Plans

All Aegis contracts can be structured with flexible monthly billing. No large upfront payment is required. Your first month's rate is due at the time of contract signing, with subsequent months billed on the same date.

Extended Financing

For clients who prefer to spread costs over a longer period, we offer extended financing through our partnership with Clearpath Financial. Qualified applicants may finance their companion contract over 12, 18, or 24 months at competitive rates.

As an example, an Aegis Domestic Companionship contract (3 months, $37,500 total) can be financed over 12 months at approximately $3,400/month, subject to credit approval and applicable interest.

Insurance and Reimbursement

For companions placed in caregiving or medical support roles, partial reimbursement may be available through select insurance providers and Medicare Advantage plans. Our client services team includes dedicated reimbursement specialists who can help you navigate available coverage and assist with the application process.

Currently accepted for reimbursement consideration through participating plans with Anthem, UnitedHealth, and Aetna. Medicare Advantage coverage is available in 14 states. Contact our team for details specific to your situation.

Aeon Assist Program

For individuals and families facing financial hardship, our Aeon Assist program provides subsidized access to our disembodied companion platform at reduced or no cost. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. Apply through our client services team or ask your healthcare provider about referral.

Early Termination

Contracts may be terminated early by the client at any time. Early termination is subject to the following:

  • Written notice of at least 14 days prior to the requested termination date
  • An early termination fee equal to one month's contract rate
  • Companion retrieval is coordinated by our transition team and typically completed within 7 business days of the termination date

If you are considering early termination, we encourage you to speak with your companion care team first. In many cases, adjustments to companion calibration, contract type, or routine can address concerns without ending the placement.

Clients who terminate early remain eligible for future contracts with no penalty or waiting period.
